Summer 2024
Virginia One considers the fall and summer seasons as separate commitments. Players must tryout out for each season. The tryout fee is $60.00 and the team fee is $1800.00. Invitations to play are extended after tryouts. Acceptance is due within 48 hours and team fees payable within 3 days. It is your responsibility to double check the schedule prior to accepting (no refunds will be issued). The team fee covers all practice related expenses, tournament fees, and coaching fees. Additional costs incurred by each family could include spirit wear, transportation, hotel accommodations and meals.
Policies
Refunds
No refunds will be issued for any fees that relate to Virginia One Lacrosse such as tryouts, teams, clinics, leagues, canceled tournaments/practices, etc. It is your responsibility to verify that the mentioned activities do not conflict with your schedule. Tournaments are subject to change and can be canceled/rescheduled by the tournament's director for reasons that are beyond the club's control and does not constitute a refund. Should a tournament be canceled/rescheduled by the tournament's director, every effort will be made to find a replacement. Practices can be canceled as well due to various reasons and does not constitute a refund.
The program's budget is based upon a plethora of services. Your commitment and placement on a team must be honored as you are taking that slot which could have been offered to another athlete. Injuries will not be refunded, but will be applied to the following season and will not be carried over. Fees are non-transferable.
Scholarships
Requested scholarships will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Should a scholarship be awarded, Virginia One Lacrosse Club will only scholarship a maximum of $200.00 towards the set registration fee. Documentation will be required to justify scholarship requests. Virginia One Lacrosse Club is not responsible for expenses incurred by uniforms, apparel or travel.
Health Insurance
All player's MUST have their own health insurance and current US Lacrosse number (us lacrosse.org). By committing to any activity provided by Virginia One Lacrosse, you are acknowledging that you have proper health insurance and release Virginia One Girls Lacrosse Club's owner, director, coaches, officers, volunteers of any liability incurred by injury.
